Accomplished Goals

In one week I will have finished my tournament season for 2009. November 30th I play in Danville, California with the Pepsi Tour. It is the end of my second full year of pursuing this quite incredible desire of my heart.

I played tournaments in Florida, North and South Carolina, Texas, Iowa and California. I was able to learn from amazing players with the Sunbelt Senior Tour. I want to thank Don Barnes for his genuine encouragement and help as I played in my first three day events. He is a man of high character. As well to his wife Yvonne who is joy and blessing to so many. Thanks for pushing through and continuing forward with the only senior developmental tour out there.

I played several PGA Champions Tour events in Iowa, Texas and California. In Texas I came the closest to date and it provided a huge boost to my confidence.

It was also in late August that Sam Maguire and I began a new journey in working together as player and caddy. I'll work on getting some pics of Sam and I out there on the course.

It was my goal in 2009 to discover how I played my own game in tournament. To find if I could play my own game and lower my scores. By years end I had lowered my tournament scores by five to six strokes and I'm looking for more. That's a good accomplishment.

Looking forward to 2010 you can see my proposed schedule with twenty four tournaments including events on the Nationwide, PGA and Champions Tours. As well, a number of tournaments with the Pepsi Tour here in Northern California. I have new clubs coming from Mizuno who continues to bless me in being a tour player with them.

I want to thank my sponsors and especially my key sponsor Brilliant Book House Publishers. With out the sponsors there would be no journey.

I look forward to unveiling my 2010 goal. Thanks for the friends and family that came out to tournaments this year. It was fun to have galleries.

Happy Thanksgiving.
Byron
