Grow....

That word has a lot of emotion wrapped up in it. Growth is never without it's bits of joy and pain. Watching a friends baby going through teething is a great example. Their they are enjoying life when out of no where comes this intense pain as teeth begin to push their way up and outward. Have you noticed the child's first reaction is to satisfy that pain. Ah...and life begins. No true growth without a bit of change.

Then there's that moment when we face the growth straight on and receive the change. Life truly changes and expands and we walk into deeper more meaningful places. What's this have to do with golf?

In San Diego, I began realizing changes were needed and that the old ways of thinking about this game must grow or the changes I desire will never occur. Is it life threatening --- No! And I'm blessed by the fact that I get to play golf day in and day out. In light of women and men facing incredible struggles in their lives this is absolutely nothing. Yet, change is change and must be accepted.

I am home and beginning some changes in my approach to the game. Not only 'how' I play golf but 'why' I play. With this I will be staying local (NorCal) into May when hopefully I'll be ready to play the Canadian Tour Q-School. Check out my Schedule page as it has all the events I'll be playing up to May.

Thanks for reading and as you are challenged by new growth, may you quickly grab hold of the change and walk into a new season of life.
