Next on the plate is Bumble's Green. What does that mean? Any information is greatly appreciated.
Bassingbourn....
Saffron Walden...
Bradfield St. George...
Nedging-with-Naughton....doing what with who...is that even legal?
....and for the moment the winner today:
Abbess Beauchamp and Berners Roding.
I love the names and that's not even touching the surface, or Wales.
...and on to golf.
Today was much better. I rose a few more spots in the ranking and finished 2 places outside of the money. Unfortunately, this tour seems to be having troubles staying alive at the moment. This is quite common for developmental tours. The players are great, the money satisfactory, the experience is good but often the administration/organization is very poor and a number of players complain far to much (not all mind you). Let's just play golf boys! They are working on a new website that should be up in a couple weeks. That will help anyone stopping by to maneuver the site quite easily. I'll put the site up when it's in place.
My time here in West England is coming to an end. I have a day off tomorrow before heading East to Royston, England to visit friends and speak. Everywhere I go people seem very interested in my journey and I am so thankful for this opportunity.
A number of you have asked, "What's next on the golfing agenda?" To be honest the season is pretty much over. There are three tournaments in Spain on this tour, which is a possibility. Also, the Pepsi Tour in NorCal has small 1 and two day events with the flat bellies throughout the end of the year. The big question is do I play the European Q-School this year (actually in January and February 2012). I will be talking and strategizing a plan once I am home...in just over a week. It will be almost 6 weeks for this trip and I'm ready to be home.
Thanks so much for following my journey. Have a great day.
Swing hard and look up,
Byron
