A few thoughts about the game during my time off.
Golf: A game. Where you count the strokes you like. Replay the ones you don't. And brag about the score that isn't. It's a gentleman's game.
Golf: A game. Played by mature people. Often seen in strange positions, ie; Screaming silently into the air, chopping down trees with a five iron, practicing the Scottish log toss with a putter, lying on ground with water running from eyes and sometimes teaching their golf clubs how to swim.
Golf: 18 holes of excruciating joy!
Golf: Played only on earth. I'm sure it's not in heaven. You'd have to count every stroke!
Golf: A puzzle - best left undisturbed.
Golf: A game. Founded by Scottish types. That must be played while consuming whiskey. Otherwise, it's not golf - it's torture.
I'm back in the saddle this Monday in preparation for upcoming tournaments in SoCal. Check out the Tournament page if you have a moment.
In the mean time...
Hit'em hard and keep your head up.
