It's not the garage!

Remember how I was complaining in the last blog? I was all talking about being bored and wanting to get back into tournaments. Ask and you will...

This weekend I'm playing in Sacramento on Sunday and Monday with the Pepsi Tour. I haven't played a Pepsi event since late last year but to be back competing again is great. I'll be playing this two day event at Teal Bend Golf Club (spectators are welcome). I'll have my tee-times listed by Saturday evening for my Sunday time.

Then I have a day on Tuesday to get ready for a Champions Tour event in Massachusetts this week. I'll fly out on Wednesday for a practice round on Thursday and then the pre-qualifier on Friday in Haverhill, MA. at Renaissance Golf Club. Just so you know that city is pronounced; Havrill not Hav - er - hill. I found out from a great person that this is true.

I'm looking forward to connecting up with Marc and Pat Halverson on this trip. We met at my last Champions Tour pre-qualifier in Texas. A great couple and fellow Mizuno player. I believe we are playing our practice round together on Thursday.

It's nice to be headed back into tournaments. So, no whining I'm not cleaning the garage!

Can you feel the strains of summer running through the days and evenings this season, telling us to dust off the clubs, go to the driving range, do some stretches, pick up a dozen golf balls and enjoy a great day on the green. It's my suggestion that you check out the 1minutegolfer.com. It's going to be a great site to pick up tips for you game.

Have a great day,
Byron
